Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
“Imagination wide open, set free. Into the genius mystery. Into the field of all possibility. Into the wise unknown.”
-Jennifer Piercy
KAP is for clients who have struggled to make progress with traditional therapeutic approaches and are ready to address core wounds to make sustainable, long-lasting changes. This approach expands upon the work I do with clients by lowering your natural defenses and tapping into your core-self which provides the potentiality to do deeply healing work.
KAP uses a low dose prescription of ketamine, that you will self-administer, to go back to experiences that haven’t been fully processed. This medicine can help clients enter a place of embodied mindfulness to go towards these experiences to then move through them and let go.
The KAP process:
Initial 30 minute consult to answer questions and explore if KAP could be beneficial for you
Intake session with Hailey Joppich M.A., LPC
2-3 preparation sessions to discuss your goals, intentions and prepare for medicine work
Medical evaluation and meeting with your prescriber who will make sure KAP is medically appropriate before prescribing prescription and discussing dosing
KAP sessions begin with Hailey to address treatment goals with integration sessions scheduled between for maximum therapeutic benefit
